WHAT DIFFERENTIATES THE CENTER from other music-store instructional places is high quality teachers and our dedication to highest educational standards in combination with high sense of civicduty and giving back to the community. Our teachers are graduates of prestigious musical colleges, many with masters and doctorate degrees and with many years of teaching experience. Our Center (through the Touchstone Project) provides music instruction to children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in the arts. Our students excel in both their artistic end civic endeavors: from winning regional and national awards, to performing for causes which benefit those in need. At the Center for the Arts, Wyoming, you will not only learn your art with the best instructors, but also with your art have an opportunity to touch the lives of others. DONATON DRIVE:
The Center continues to change and enrich lives through the arts for many local children and adults. We are humbled by our work; from Touchstone violin instruction of children in economically disadvantaged schools, to helping raise funds for Shreiners Hospital, and by providing free lessons to this year's Silver Medalist at the national ACT-SO Competition (NAACP) in Florida, the Center IS an essential building block of our community. Allow us to borrow the Newman's Own Company motto: "Shameless exploitation in pursuit of the common good", and ask you to donate to the Center. What you give is reinvested back into the community which makes us all stronger. Thank you!
IN MEMORIAM:
On Friday 9/26/2008, our world lost a great man and a great philanthropist whose reach, unbeknown to many, extended into our community. Paul Newman and the Newman's Own Foundation were a big supporter for the Center's Touchstone Project. We want to express our gratitude and humility for their support and extend our sincere condolences to the Newman family, for their loss is also a loss for the rest of the world.
We dedicate our work to the memory of a great man, Paul Newman. Paul, you will be missed.
