ART FOR ADULTS ONGOING CLASSES! JOIN ANYTIME!

September 15, 2008- May 23, 2009

Rediscover yourself at the Workshop and explore working with clay, learn to draw or paint in watercolor, acrylic or oils. Sample all of the visual art mediums or concentrate on the one thing that you like the best. The choice is up to you! This format gives you the flexibility you need to add art and creativity to your life, whenever you can fit it in!

8 classes $150
(Supplies are NOT included) (The 8 classes can be used anytime or any adult class for the whole year)

HANDS IN CLAY

Enjoy the therapeutic properties of this wonderful medium as you use your hands to build and construct pottery and sculpture. Construction using slab, coil and pinch will be taught as well as glazing techniques. All ability levels are welcome. This is the highlight of the week for many students. Come and join in the fun!

CREATIVE PAINTING W/OILS OR ACRYLIC

Discover yourself through painting! Clarks comfortable teaching style will put you at ease as you put brush to canvas and experience the joy of painting! Tom is a new teacher at the Center and is excited to add his style of teaching painting to the offerings at the Workshop.

Wed. 10:00 am - 12:00 pm 

DRAWING & WATERCOLOR PAINTING

Always wanted to learn to draw? Or do you want to get back to drawing? Lessons are based on the book “Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain” by Betty Edwards. Learn watercolor techniques or come for the camaraderie of other painters if you already know how to paint. Instruction will be on your individual level.

DRAW ANYTHING

Learn to draw anything in just 8 weeks! Learn the fundamentals of drawing from Tom and you will be amazed at how quickly your drawing will improve. (Adults and teens 14 and up)
