Welcome to the Cincinnati String Academy The Cincinnati String Academy (CSA) at The Center For The Arts is home to some of the best private music lessons in violin, viola, cello, bass, piano, guitar and harp in the Greater Cincinnati area. Our Traditional String program accepts children and adults of all ages and abilities interested in learning classical as well as contemporary styles of music. Our Suzuki String program offers private and group lessons in violin, viola, cello and guitar, beginning students as young as 3 years old using the methods developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. The Starling Kids program teaches children ages 5-7 years old, instrumental skills in violin and cello based on the Starling Preparatory String Project methods.
The Center has become one of the first art schools in the nation to use cutting edge technology to expand your musical horizons. Our new Music Technology Lab offers extraordinary classes with state of the art electronic guitars, keyboards and drums in our new computerized facility. Other music opportunities in the CSA are String Orchestral Program for string students from elementary through high school ages. A Musik Kids program featuring the MusikGartenÔcurriculum for babies, children and families and a new Vocal Arts Program featuring Youth and Concert choirs for children and adults.
