The Center For The Arts was originally a home in the established area of Wyoming. Built in the 1850's the house was purchased by the Masons in the early 1900's and renovated for use as a Masonic Lodge. The Masons are responsible for the addition of the beautiful ballroom facility on the main floor and Masonic Theater on the third level that are offered for rental purposes. Paul Bartel bought and renovated the building in 1995 in order to provide a community facility for the arts. The Center is currently home to the Cincinnati String Academy, The Music Technology Lab, The Art Workshop. Musik Kids, Wyoming Dance Center, The Flying Cloud Academy of Vintage Dance, Cincinnati Civic Orchestra and Cincinnati Contra Dancers.
