ART CLASSES FOR CHILDRENNancy Kopp, Director513-948-9480 COME JOIN US IN OUR BRIGHT AND AIRY STUDIO! New this year! More class times, evening and Saturday classes and 2 new teachers! All classes are ongoing, so you can join anytime, even after soccer season is over! Class fees will be prorated. Families receive a 10% discount for multiple children who are enrolled.
Art for Mom and Me Session 1 - Sept. 15-Jan. 24 (No Classes Nov. 24-30 & Dec. 22-Jan. 4)

ART FOR MOM AND ME2-4 Yrs Old Hear stories, sing songs, and play with paint, clay, and paper as you and your little artist explore the world of art together. Learn about color, line and shape and experience various ways to create art with your child. Begin to encourage artistic learning by participating with him/her in a unique way. Little artists will gain confidence and skill in hand/ eye coordination and small motor skills with the bonus of cool projects to take home. Studies show that early involvement in art help with writing skills and cognitive ability once the child begins school.

EXPLORING ARTPreschool Ages 4-6 (Including Kindergarten) What can be more fun than squishing clay between your fingers or swirling paint colors together? This popular class is designed to develop fine motor skills as well as creativity while giving your preschooler the freedom to explore art materials. Young artists will experience a variety of materials including clay and be introduced to basic art concepts such as line, color and shape. Weekly classes also include stories.

ART ALL THE TIMEKindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd grades Loving art and can’t get enough? This weekly class is designed for you! It combines many different art materials in fun and creative ways for a fun time and cool projects. Young artists will work with different types of paint, clay, drawing, and sculpture materials. Art vocabulary and art history will be introduced.

ART AND ME4th, 5th & 6th Grades Art is telling a visual story. In this class we will explore the idea that art is a form of self expression and a way to tell the world about who you are. Making more involved projects, artists at this level will be challenged to express themselves through their artwork. Buildi ng upon concepts and techniques that they have learned in the past years, projects will incorporate ceramics, sculpture, drawing, and painting in more depth. Since this is a very social age, lots of fun will be happening weekly at the Workshop!

THE ARTISTJunior and High School Painting, drawing realistically, digital photography, Claymation movies and sculpture design are a few of the topics that will be covered this year. The Art Workshop will help your teen find his/her focus in art while exploring other media to help them become a well rounded artist. Art appreciation and understanding visual expression of self and others will be our focus this year. Hang out with friends, sculpt something out of clay, and learn to draw in the laid back environment of the Workshop. No tests, no stress just FUN.

CARTOON WORKSHOPAll Ages Join cartoon professionals Nathan Kissel and Ron LaCour in our Cartoon Workshop and learn to draw and create your own characters and story. Character development, drawing skills, advancing the storyline and comic book layout will be covered. One on one instruction for each cartoonist is the focus of the class. This fun class will really be the highlight of your week!
