Art for Mom and Me
Homeschool artFor twelve years the Art Workshop has provided an enriching atmosphere to learn and grow artistically and socially. Our goal is to teach language, concepts, encourage creativity and develop confidence in the student's ability and self-expression through a visual medium. Students will work with clay, wood, papier mache and have lessons in drawing, painting and using oil and soft pastels. Supplies included. New to the program are claymation and digital photography classes in the state-of-the-art tech lab.

ART FOR MOM AND MEHear stories, sing songs, and play with paint, clay, and paper as you and your little artist explore the world of art together. Learn new things about art and how to encourage artistic learning in your child.

Use of our state-of-the-art technology lab will allow us to include claymation and photography in the curriculum.

Click here for more information or to sign up FINE ART ELECTIVEPainting, multimedia, drawing realistically, composition, and design principles are a few of the topics that will be covered this year. Art history and famous artists are studied to understand the creative process and help the student to discover themselves through creating and relating their ideas to others. New to the curriculum is use of the tech lab to explore projects in claymation & digital photography.
