Midwest Modern Music SchoolTom Haines, Director The Midwest Modern Music School has quickly become one of the country's leading schools for community and pre-collegiate based Digital Music Production and Performance. Directed by Tom Haines, nationally pre-eminent instructor in the digital arts and a certified Apple production suite trainer, students of all backgrounds become prepared for real world musical applications where digital skills are now a prerequisite. The MMMS uses our state-of-the-art Music Technology Lab to offer extraordinary classes for children and adults to explore the world of digital recording, songwriting, arranging, composition, rock and jazz performance, and Apple computer applications. The Lab provides each student with their own station with an Apple iMac computer, full digital keyboard, electric guitar or bass, and a host of leading music production software. ROCK BANDS AT THE CENTER One of the first rock-band programs in Cincinnati, the Center offers instruction in a group setting to students interested in jamming with their peers. Students are grouped by age and level, and perform 2 concerts during the year. Visit our Facebook page or our YouTube channel for some videos of recent performances.
