PRIVATE LESSONS
 CINCINNATI STRING ACADEMY
 Private Lessons We welcome children and adults with no musical experience through advanced abilities to study at the Academy. The CSA operates on a quarterly calendar (fall, winter, & spring) that are twelve weeks in length and has a nine week summer quarter. Students can choose to take 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons. You may register anytime during the quarter and the tuition will be adjusted to reflect the remaining number of lessons left in that quarter. You will automatically receive a new quarter bill unless you call the office and request a stop.
The tuition fee is based on a twelve week quarter and varies according to the program. Tuition payment is due by the first lesson of the quarter. A late fee of $15.00 is assessed per quarter if payment is not made by the first lesson. The base price for a 30 minute lesson is $24.00, a 45 minute lesson is $34.00 and a 60 minute lesson is $42.00.
How to register for lessons:
- Call the office to register over the phone or for more information.
- Register online. Click here to fill out our email registration form.
- Mail the registration form.
- Click on the following link to take you to Registration Form, Tuition & Policies area.
- Print the form, register for the instrument, length of lesson, program, and quarter you wish to begin lessons.
- Sign the waiver at the bottom of the form.

Once we receive your registration form, an instructor will contact you to schedule a lesson time. The instructor will inform the office of the beginning lesson date and you will be sent an invoice for the quarterly tuition. Full Payment is due by first lesson.

STARLING KIDS PROGRAM
 "Starling Kids" is an innovative program that makes the proven and successful teaching methods of the Starling Preparatory String Project available to a large number of young children in the Greater Cincinnati area. "Starling Kids" provides an individual program of violin and cello instruction for students ages five through seven to learn instrumental skills. Each child receives a weekly private lesson and attends an ensemble class. In the beginning stages the ensemble class will serve to teach basic note reading and rhythmic skills. Instrumental technique is taught in lessons, while musicianship and group playing is presented in the class. |
